Hi, I'm Theo
Ex-quant developer at Optiver and CS graduate from Melbourne uni. After two years of work, I decided to take a gap year to travel, found my own AI project, and explore where I want to take my career next — which led me to health tech/clinical AI.
Having explored it independently through a couple of projects, I'm now looking for a role where I can contribute technically and gain more exposure to this space.

AI travel platform with LLM-based itinerary planner trained on destination-specific data, natural language trip planning, and third-party booking integrations.
Exploring clinical AI applications through independent research and projects.
Experience
- •Designed machine learning algorithms and data pipelines to trade in India, generating ~20M AUD/year
- •Maintained multithreaded, low-latency applications publishing ~500k financial valuations per second
- •Developed a high-frequency basket trading architecture used across Asian markets
- •Performed ad hoc analysis, company research and financial instrument valuation
- •Assisted with building financial forecasts, data models and completing due diligence
- •Implemented an application to model the costs of bioprocesses and scientific experiments
- •Collaborated with end-users to identify key requirements and enhance the usability of CSL's software
